Believe Me is a hilarious new comedy produced by RIOT STUDIOS in association with LASCAUX FILMS coming to theaters and On Demand on September 26.

Facebook — Desperate, broke, and out of ideas, four college seniors start a fake charity to embezzle money for tuition.

Plot Outline  — In BELIEVE ME, Sam (Alex Russell) stands on stage as thousands of fans go wild. Smart, charismatic, handsome, he moves them with his message, and when he calls for donations to his charity, the money pours in.

Only thing is, Sam doesn’t believe a word he’s saying.Just months earlier, Sam was a typical college senior focused on keg stands, hookups and graduation. But when a surprise tuition bill threatens his dream of law school and leaves him thousands of dollars in the hole, he’s forced to think outside the box. He convinces his three roommates they can make a killing on the gullible church crowd and the guys start a sham charity, campaigning across the country, raising funds for a cause as fake as their message. 

For Sam, embezzlement is easy compared to getting attention from the only person he cares about. When Callie (Johanna Braddy), the tour manager and Sam’s love interest, finally discovers the guys’ ruse, it’s Sam’s moment of truth.

On the final night of the tour, before a packed auditorium and alone in the spotlight, Sam has to decide what he really believes.

1st Annual “Rock It Like A Redhead” Event Is A Hit in NYC

Redheads from around the country came together on Saturday, March 16, 2013 for the 1st Annual Rock It Like A Redhead event in New York City!  This event idea was conceptualized by Adrienne & Stephanie Vendetti, sisters and Co-Owners of the popular beauty blog, How To Be A Redhead.

The Rock It Like A Redhead event was jam-packed with exciting activities for everyone! From 5-8 pm, guests experienced Beauty Time, complete with hair styling, feather clip-ins and makeup applications.

There were a plethora of yummy libations and my personal favorite treat was the Red Velvet Mini Cupcake from Sweet Generation.

From 8-10 pm, guests enjoyed Fashion Time which included a runway model show featuring redhead-friendly wardrobe options.

I picked up a pack of the 1st ever Redhead Bobby Pins at the event!

The best part of it all, was the FAN-tabulous Swag Bag that all guests received upon departing the event — it was jam-packed with all the goodies that any girl would love!

Being a natural redhead and “ginger” myself, I was thrilled to have the opportunity to be a part of this exciting event!  I came across Adrienne and Stephanie’s blog two years ago, and have contributed to their site with a few entertainment-related articles.

Kim Wacker is playing the hilariously funny role of 6 year old Sally Brown in the musical “You’re A Good Man, Charlie Brown!” Charlie Brown, Snoopy, Linus, Sally, Lucy, Schroeder and the rest of the Peanuts gang star in You’re a Good Man Charlie Brown, a classic musical comedy for audiences of all ages based on the timeless comics by Charles M. Schulz. The play brings to life some of the gang’s most memorable situations from both the strip and television specials, with appearances from the Kite-Eating Tree, the Little Red-Haired Girl, Lucy’s psychiatry booth, and Snoopy’s battles with the Red Baron. And throughout it all, Charlie Brown tries to figure out how to be a “good man.” Playwright-composer Clark Gesner‘s score features such great tunes as “Suppertime,” “Happiness” and the title song. ABBA You Can Dance for Wii

Hello Friends!

As many of your know, I am a member of Crowdtap and I frequently have the opportunity to try new products out and review them on my blog!  I was recently selected to sample the NEW ABBA You Can Dance game for Wii. So I hosted a Super 70’s Party and…

I unleashed my Inner “Dancing Queen” and let the party begin!  This new game for Wii was formed by the creators of Just Dance (you’ve seen the commercials)…

The Wii game has three different choices when it comes to how you want to play:

1. Dance — My personal fave!

2. Mini-Musical — I felt like I was starring in Greece!

3. Karaoke — Sing along to all of your favorite ABBA tunes!

Even though ABBA became popular before my time, I am familiar with a lot of their music.  I love the ABBA-inspired movie Mamma Mia, and I recently saw the stage show too!  Yes…ABBA music is officially stuck in my head for awhile!

Although we had a total of 5 people in attendance at the Dance Party, a few opted out of the pictures, but I think you will enjoy the goofy pictures of “yours truly,” along with my boyfriend’s kids, Tyler and Sarah…together we brought the 70’s back!

After playing this game, you too will feel transformed back in time to the 70’s!  I am sporting my free ABBA tee shirt in the pics, and I also received an ABBA Greatest Hits CD!

Old Navy Active-wear Sample Share

Hello Friends!

I was recently selected to participate in my 4th Old Navy Sample Share via Crowdtap! This time, I got to bring 1 friend with me to Old Navy to try on and model their Active-wear items including the Compression Tops, Jackets and Dry-Fit pants.

I have always been a huge fan of Old Navy’s Active-wear line and I love to work out, so this was a “Win Win!” I selected black cropped dry-fit pants with a bright pink stripe down the side, along with a long-sleeved black compression top with cute little zip pockets. Jennie selected black dry-fit pants with a cute, fitted zip up jacket.

We are officially ready for some cold weather and to hit the gym in style thanks to Old Navy and Crowdtap!
